Cecille Pineda prides herself being part of Southern California Edison’s Cybersecurity Team, safeguarding critical infrastructure from cyber security attacks as Cybersecurity Advisor. She also collaborates with other utility companies’ Cybersecurity team such as Sempra and PG&E, influencing industry change. She currently leads cybersecurity evaluation of the SCE’s multi-year Grid Modernization Initiative and California’s State of Emergency Battery Energy Storage System implementations, billion-dollar programs, to advise on security measures in relation to industrial critical infrastructure cyber threats. Cecille is currently focusing on Industrial Control System (ICS)/Operational Technology (OT) cyber security. Her cyber security experience includes risk management, governance and policy enforcement, cloud security, vulnerability management, and third-party risk management. She currently holds GICSP, GSEC, GCCC, CISM, CISA security certifications. Cecille started her career as an external auditor at SGV & Co. and was CPA in the Philippines. Her curiosity of financial system reports’ integrity shifted her career to information security field.
