Managing Partner, Padilla & Company, LLP Reynaldo L. Padilla is a retired Managing Partner of Padilla & Company LLP. He founded the company in 1988 and prior to establishing the firm, he was a Bureau Chief for the New York City Office of the Auditor General and the Deputy Auditor General for the New York City Board of Education. He also has worked as external and internal auditors at Ernst and Young and RCA Corporation. In the Philippines, he was connected with Carlos J. Valdez and PCI Bank. Mr. Padilla is also an educator, teaching since 1978. He is an Adjunct Professor at York College – CUNY teaching Government and Not-For-Profit Accounting, Auditing and Taxation and was an Adjunct Professor at C.W. Post Long Island University, Queens College, New York University, New School for Social Research, USDA Graduate School, and Pace University. He graduated from the University of the East (Philippines) in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Accounting and completed his Masters in Professional Studies, Management Auditing in 1982 at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Mr. Padilla is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and in the Philippines. He is also a Certified Government Financial Manager and has served on the New York State Board of Accountancy. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association of Filipino-American Accountants, National Asian American Society of Accountants, and National Council of Philippine American Canadian Accountants.
