Arvin Floresca is the Vice President of Internal Audit (Chief Audit Executive) of MultiPlan, a publicly-listed company that helps clients, including all 10 of the nation’s top 10 healthcare payors, manage their health plans through a number of different and innovative healthcare cost management solutions that emphasize fairness, a legacy of strong provider relationships, efficiency and affordability.

Arvin is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and a Certified Global Management Accountant. He also received his Certification in Risk Management Assurance. His areas of expertise are in Internal Auditing, SOX Compliance, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Enterprise Risk Management, and Business Process Audits.

Arvin previously held global leadership positions in the areas of SOX Compliance and Accounting Policies in Anixter, a leading global distributor of Network and Security solutions, Electrical and Electronic solutions and Utility Power solutions, and in Internal Controls in AbbVie, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, and in CNH, a world leader in farm machinery and construction equipment. He was a Manager of Enterprise Risk Services at Deloitte where he served clients in various industries. He was involved in knowledge management, training course development activities for the firm’s internal audit services and a national instructor for Deloitte US courses.

He started his career as an external auditor at SGV & Co. (then Arthur Andersen Philippines). He has broad experience outside of public accounting, specifically in the Oil and Gas, Retail and Energy industries. He has been an Assistant Treasurer and Accounting & Controls Manager at Shell Philippines Exploration and a project manager for Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance at Party City. He has also managed numerous compliance and operational audits of various government and non-profit organizations as an Audit Supervisor in a minority auditing firm in Chicago.

He is involved in various finance and accounting professional not-for profit organizations. He is a member of the National Executive Board of the International Society of Filipinos in Finance and Accounting (ISFFA). He is also an active member of the AICPA, the IIA and ISACA. He was an Assistant Professor at the Northern Illinois University – teaching Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) Examination Review Course and a National Facilitator for the IIA seminars. He is one of the founding officers and a former President of the Chicago Chapter of ISFFA. In 2017, he established the ISFFA Chicago - Floresca CPA Review Scholarship which provides funding for deserving accounting students to attend a review school paving their way to become CPAs. Arvin is a Hall of Fame awardee for Excellence in Finance and Accounting in 2019 by the Via Times, the only ethnic print/broadcast combo media founded and managed by a woman in North America.

Arvin received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from De La Salle University in the Philippines. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. He is a proud husband to Gayle, also a distinguished CPA, and a proud dad to Nina, Enzo and Alyssa.
